Be as loud as a siren with your,
Soft and sad uncertain voice.
First place thoughts hidden behind the gloss of individuality and reality,
But it's just a formality cause,
If your top shelf ideas get dusty in the back corners of your brain,
Then they fade away,
Slowly becoming more transparent day by day,
As you sit there.
So get up on that stage,
The feeling of the warm spot light hits you,
Like the rays of sun on the first day of summer vacation.
Sweat dripping down your face like your fears leaving you.
Heart thumping in your ears like a rhythmic thunder,

Yet another night passed as he lay awake in his bed waiting, praying, for the sun to rise and shed some light into the darkened corners of his room where anything could be lurking. Jimmy Parker, like most any other child his age, was afraid of the dark. But the thin little boy wasn't afraid of the darkness in his closet, or the darkened corner of the attic, or the blackened forest in his backyard. Jimmy was only afraid of the darkness in the basement.
